Rev. Richardson was born on February 10,1917. His parents were Pleas and Dora Richardson. He future his education at Phyllis Wheatley High School, Prairie View A&M University, Brandeis University, Western Theological Seminary, Texas Southern University and Princeton University. Rev. Richardson married Gladys Crawford Richardson. He confessed Christ as Savior at an early age. His children were Wilson D. Richardson Jr. and Mary Richardson Page. Pastoral Work were Founded two churches and severed as pastor of Blueridge Baptist Church.
